The professional facilitators from the Disney Institute will help our Alumni
clients through Disney’s breakthrough training game: The Incredible Race.
The Disney trainers will also show us their own techniques for dealing
effectively with people management where customer satisfaction is
the minimum outcome. (They are the largest single site employer in the
country!) In addition, Pride Institute trainers will have special programs
to address practice management specific issues in staff management,
marketing and business systems. And get ready for some off-the-charts
surprises like only Pride Institute can provide!
Training Highlights: The Incredible Race
The Incredible Race is an entertaining activity
that tests your team’s ability to perform in a new
environment. Exploring Epcot® and the Epcot® Resort
area, participants must solve a series of challenging
puzzles or team activities before progressing to the
next challenge point. Your team will use both the
left and right brain to decipher clues that reveal the
next location. Solving the “Speed Bumps” along the
way will shorten your finishing time. Team work and
communication are essential – depending on the team’s
decisions, you may be the first to cross the finish line,
but not the first prize winner.
This is an exciting afternoon with fun, but not too
strenuous activities. Leave the rest up to the Disney
Institute. It’s never the same race twice!
Newly formed teams and established teams alike will
benefit from this experience for innovative thinkers. For
small or large groups, participants use critical thinking
and problem solving techniques to unleash the full
creative potential of each team and ultimately, of your
organization! Get out of the meeting room for learning,
fun, and prizes.
People Management
Every business has a culture. Communicating and
nurturing the culture of your organization is vital to
the successful management of your employees. From
recruiting to career management, employees want to
know your expectations and how you are going to
support them in meeting those expectations.
The Walt Disney World® Resort is recognized as
a leader in people management and an employer of
choice. As the nation’s largest single site employer, we
manage a workforce of over 50,000, yet employee
retention, a huge issue in the realm of people
management, is one of our Disney success stories.
At the Disney Institute, our professional facilitators
will encourage you to explore how we select, train,
communicate with and recognize our workforce.
Through interactive settings that move from
the classroom to “on stage” and “back stage,” you
will discover the value of creating and maintaining
a culture that supports retention, productivity and
organizational goals.
This is your chance to see how we manage our most
important asset, the people at the Walt Disney World®
Resort. Let the Disney Institute welcome you inside our
living laboratory and you will take away proven concepts
to adapt to your organization. |
